On the morning of December 16th, 2021, the head of the Cabinet of Lao Academy of Science and Technology, Head of Science and Innovation Research Institute with a group came to visit and brought Prof. Dr. Phout Simmalavong, Minister of Education and Sport, to Huaykhong Village, KeoOudom District, Vientiane Province to check the construction’s progression of Science and Botany Park. During this visit, the group was given a warm welcome by Mr. Phouvong Souyavong, President of Atlantic International Group Sole Co., LTD, which he informed about the history, watched the video presentation about Science and Botany Park, and took the minister to each area to see the progression such as planetarium, observatory, ornamental garden, orchard, etc.
After that, the minister had commented and gave the direction for the future to come, especially improving on each task of the project for it to become part of education about science and botany alongside the development of the economic and society step by step to make the most efficient and effectiveness of it.
